Law students invited to Indonesia, China tours
Law students who are interested to participate in two foreign trainings and conferences are advised to coordinate with the Law Students Association (LSA) of the WMSU College of Law.
The National Youth Commission under the Office of the President, through the WMSU College of Law- LSA, announced that applications for the ASEAN Young Cadres Training Program to be held on October 10-December 10, 2006 are now being accepted.
Mr. Bong Bue, LSA president, said this is a program of the Guangxi International Youth Exchange Institute of China and is open to Filipinos 18 and below 40 years old.
Bue said the cost of the roundtrip airfare and accommodation will be borne by the Guangxi International Youth Exchange Institute and participants will get 600 Yuan per month to cover their meal expenses.
The program is aimed at strengthening cultural understanding of both countries and to further reinforce cooperation among the Chinese and Filipino youths.
The other invitation comes from the Asian Youth Council (AYC) who will host the Asian Youth Forum 2006 in Jakarta, Indonesia on Oct. 11-14, 2006. Interested parties may see the LSA officers at the WMSU College of Law. (PRESS RELEASE)
